Lore Segal, una aclamada autora y traductora vienesa-estadounidense cuyo talento literario ayudó a su familia a escapar de los nazis, ha fallecido el lunes a los 96 años. Segal se basó en sus vivencias como refugiada e inmigrante judía para crear obras de ficción como “Other People’s Houses” (“En casas ajenas”) y “Her First American”.

La escritora, residente de Manhattan desde hace mucho tiempo, murió en su apartamento tras una breve enfermedad, según informó su editorial Melville House en un comunicado.
